One night in Paris

About a month ago my boyfriend and I went to Paris for a one night stay as a little present for Christmas. So romantic right? Haha. We never went to Paris together before, so this was the perfect opportunity to do a quick meet-up with the city of love. Last time I’ve visited Paris was to enjoy Disneyland, and I’m talking about a way long time ago. So I never actually had the chance to do a good city exploring really, next to seeing the usual touristy stuff like the Eiffel Tower and Moulin Rouge (never been inside though!).

So this trip was all about enjoying Paris like a local would do, and I have to say we quite succeeded at that! After a 4 hour drive we arrived at our super cute stay for the night: Hotel Henriette. The moment you walk in the hotel you get pretty overwhelmed with all the lovely stuff you see blending in with the exquisite interior design. Henriette’s founder has a background in fashion and you can tell by looking at every single detail. Vintage classics meets modern furniture, all recognized by that typical romantic Paris vibe. There’s a small garden in the back as well where you get surrounded by beautiful flowers. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold to go outside, but if you happen to be there around Spring and Summer, just take a moment to enjoy their backyard with a nice cup of coffee.

Our hotelroom happened to have some marble sidetables next to our bed, I couldn’t ask for more right! We had a lovely view from the window as well where we could overlook the city with a beautiful sunrise. I was kinda bumped we just stayed for only one night, so Paris, I will be back soon…

PS: I’m sharing my fave Paris art, shopping and food spots in a next post so stay tuned for more Paris spam!
