#ladiesthatlace

Maybe you’ve already noticed the British sneaker retailer just launched Size? for Women, offering fresh sneakers and apparel for the sportive ladies out there. To celebrate this whole new women’s devision, they’ve set up the #ladiesthatlace campaign, accompanied with a special sneaker-release which, ironically, don’t include laces. I’m talking about the Reebok Insta Pump Fury executed in a black and white version with copper details. Even though you cannot lace them, I’m pretty sure these exclusive Reebok’s will be adorned by many of us.

Size? has claimed five London-based creative ladies as their campaign ambassadors, amongst them are Sharmadean Reid, DJ B’Traits, stylist Luci Ellis, fashion-designer Charlie May and producer Sarah Mei.

I’m happy to be part of this little tribe as well, as I had the chance to choose my fave pair from the Size? for Women collection. And finally, I can say I got some classic Nike Cortez’ in my collection from now on, since I’ve been drooling over these for quite a while but never actually bought them. Originally introduced in 1972 by Bill Bowerman, the Cortez quickly became an iconic running shoe. This women’s update provides a premium leather re-vamp, including a vintage-inspired foam tongue. A litte warning: they run very small so take one size up if you’re thinking about to purchase them.

I wore the pair with an all black outfit to pay a tribute to these classics. In this way the sneakers get all the attention they deserve.
