Fall season is all about comfort layering to me; wrapping yourself up in your favorite pieces one by one. Lately I have this thing for oversized sweats, slumber pants and turtlenecks, just because they simply allow you to move around the day, whatever you’ve planned. I feel like with these pieces you can show up on all kind of events, from a network meeting or a coffee date to an exposition opening and dinner parties, it’s comfortable, cozy and elegant at the same time. And the fact you can simply change your look by pulling off a layer or two, makes it even more fun to play with.
But there’s more! This project is also part of my latest collab with Cleo Goossens, a lovely photographer based in my hometown, Eindhoven. We both have a similar eye for minimalism, clean visuals and neutral colortones. Where I clearly take these elements into my wardrobe, Cleo captures this vision in her dreamy pictures of the outdoor and nature (mostly together with her dog Wolf). So what’s better than join forces and do a fun and inspiring collab together? There isn’t right, especially when our names are Cleo and Chloe…
So Cleo took care of the location as she always knows to find the best hidden gems, and this one is definitely one of them. De Fabriek is normally used as an exposition space and features concrete floors, white walls and lots of natural light, the perfect setting! I took care of the clothing and decided we were only allowed to bring some white, black or grey staples. And what happened next you can simply explore it by yourself by scrolling through the looks down below Cleo shot. If you’re curious to see what I’ve done, you can find out by visiting Cleo’s website as well :)! #cleoxchloe
